Kids Fishing Trips on 30A
Our kids' fishing trips on Choctawhatchee Bay are built for one thing: getting young anglers hooked on fishing. These are shorter, 2-hour catch-and-release trips on calm, protected water, and we run them on the spots with the highest bite potential so there's steady action to keep kids engaged from the first cast. For a lot of our young guests it's their very first time fishing and we take that seriously, making it fun, safe, and the kind of day they talk about the whole drive home.
Capt. Kyler is patient with first-timers. He'll help kids cast, bait their own hooks if they want to, and reel in their catch and because the bay is calm and the run from the dock is only a few minutes, there's no rough water or long boat ride to wear little ones out. The 2-hour length is set on purpose: long enough to catch fish, short enough to match a kid's attention span.
"Our kids' fishing trip was amazing! Captain Kyler was so great with our kids (7 and 3). The trip was just the right length... They talked about it the entire way back to Texas!"

Bay & Inshore Fishing Trips
An inshore fishing charter on Choctawhatchee Bay is one of the most productive and most relaxed ways to fish the 30A and Santa Rosa Beach area. Most of our fishing happens in shallow water between 1.5 and 18 feet deep, often back in quiet bayous where we chase redfish in completely undeveloped surroundings: no condos, no crowds, just nature. Every trip begins with fresh live bait already loaded and ready, so there's no wasted time. Within 10 to 15 minutes of leaving the dock, we're fishing. It's ideal for families, new anglers, or anyone who wants to spend more time catching and less time riding.
Each charter is fully customized to what you’re looking for. Whether you’re hoping to put fish in the cooler, chase a specific species, get steady bites for the kids, or leave it up to the captain’s choice, we’ll chat before the trip to plan the perfect day on the water. A cooler stocked with ice and cold waters is provided, so you can just relax and enjoy the day. For most groups, I recommend a 4-hour trip as it offers the perfect balance of fishing and fun. Our 3 hour trips are shorter durations designed around catch & release fishing for a quick way to experience the bay. We also offer 5- and 6-hour options for those who want to explore further and make the most of every minute.
Our trips generally start around 7AM or 12PM.
